Baking is just not an area where I have as much creativity as I’d like. I am always “wow-ed” when I see pretty cupcakes, which is something that the cookbook Dare To Bake! is chock full of.
The introduction of this book contains great info on baking, including tips and techniques. There’s some helpful informatio in there, particularly for the novice baker. Then come the recipes.

The recipes are all nicely laid out and easy to understand. I was thrilled to see that every recipe was accompanied by a full page color photo. Photos help inspire you in determining what to choose, and let you know what your finished treats will look like (hopefully) in the end. Prep time is missing, and to find out the actual cooking time you have to read through the recipe. I find it much more helpful when these things are listed right at the top of a recipe, so you know if you have sufficient time to try a new recipe when you want to. Just a few of the recipes that I’d love to try include Pear and Cranberry Cupcakes, Cranberry Orange Cupcakes, Strawberry Colada Cupcakes, and Margarita Cupcakes.
This cookbook would be perfect for anyone that enjoys baking or entertaining.
