Yesterday was the last day of school for my oldest. He had already planned out his summer, it’s full of hanging out with friends and sleeping in. He wanted to spend his first day of summer break with some friends. Now we always have ice cream in our house – we like to eat it by the bowl-full because, well, we’re ice cream pigs. This time around I figured since lots of kids would be coming and going I would try getting something different. I stopped in Walmart because I needed a couple of things and found exactly the type of treats I was looking for. I found Nestle’s ice cream treats. There were more than a few varieties. They were perfect because they were single serving, and affordable! I loved that they were individually wrapped – translation – no dishes, a perfect dessert following the sandwich buffet that was lunch.

I adore Toll House cookies! I often eat the dough long before it makes it to the oven. I had to try the new Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar. It was fantastic! This bar had vanilla ice cream with pieces of chocolate and cookie dough and was covered by a chocolate cookie coating.

We’d never had Nestle Drumsticks before. They also had Mini-Drums, but knowing it was teenagers that would be eating these treats I figured I should get the big ones. I held one out to give my son without realizing he’d already taken one. He seemed to think that jousting with them would be a fun idea.

Being somewhat picky people, we got to discussing what flavors we’d had to choose from and what other flavors we’d like to see in the Drumsticks. As it turns out, there are other yummy sounding flavors we hadn’t seen in our Walmart, such as Simply Dipped Cookies And Cream, Cookie Dipped Vanilla Fudge, Chocolate Fudge Brownie Lil Drums, and King Size Triple Chocolate. I’ll definitely be looking for them all at the Super Walmart when I go grocery shopping again so we an try some more yummy treats.
