Blueberry Wine Slush Recipe From Val's Kitchen

During the summer one of my favorite ways to get a break from the heat is with a cold and icy drink. If staying at home, sometimes that icy drink might be a nice alcoholic beverage. A wine slush like this one is just the right thing on some days. This one is super easy to make, here’s how.

Blueberry wine slush

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup red wine ( Merlot )
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

In a blender, combine blueberries, wine, simple syrup, and ice cubes until smooth.

Serve in a chilled wine glass.

That does look delicious! Those of us who don’t drink alcohol could always substitute cranberry juice instead. 🙂
