Are your kids back in school yet? My college age kids have already begun classes and my daughter in high school starts next week. One item that was on our list this year was a backrest for studying in bed. My son and daughter in law loved their backrests in college and were pretty thrilled when I told them I was going to review one! Their backrest was smelly, shabby and needed to be thrown out!
The typical backrest absorbs heat, sweat and can get in horrible condition very quickly! They also can be very hot to lean against, making you sweat. The Bedgear Performance backrest is made from special DRI-TEC® 5.0 Fabric on the surface. This performance material wicks away heat and moisture to help you sleep cool and dry. The backrest has AIR-X® Ventilated panels. This 3D structure keeps air flowing and dissipates heat to help maintain proper body temperature. The filling is a responsive fiber fill blend. The flexible and firm hypoallergenic fibers will provide the perfect support for your back.
It reminds me of the type of fabric and technology used in sporting clothing and gear. Bedgear uses the same type of technology, making a bedrest that is modern, high-tech and comfortable. The Bedgear backrest should last for many years without looking, feeling or smelling old or worn out.
My son and daughter in law chose the black/gray color for their bedrest. It also comes in gray/lime and purple/gray. They retail for $39.99. I noticed some of their products at Bed, Bath and Beyond recently. They have a full line of products using the same technology on their website. The other items include all types of pillows, mattress covers and toppers, sheets and blankets and baby bedding. I would love to try their sheets and blankets!
Who would you like to get a Bedgear Backrest for? Well, you’re in luck, because one lucky reader will win their very own Bedgear Backrest in black/gray, just like the one I reviewed!
