Easy Air Fryer Blueberry Donut Bites

Easy Air Fryer Blueberry Donut Bites take me back to the days of my childhood. Back in the day, many stores had a special sale on one item once a week. For a while, my parents would go to the local Dunkin Donuts every week to take advantage of their sale on munchkins. Munchkins, or donut holes as some called them, were a tasty treat that we all enjoyed. It didn’t matter if we had them after dinner, while watching a movie or just as a snack. Back then it seemed they were the perfect treat – a bite sized donut. It always seemed that the jelly ones were the favorite, even though my personal favorite was the chocolate.

These Easy Air Fryer Blueberry Donut Bites are super quick and easy to make, calling for only three ingredients. Cooking in the air fryer means you don’t have to turn on the oven, making it a great snack even for warmer weather. The recipe tells you how to make them with blueberry pie filling but if you prefer you could use strawberry or just about any other flavor of fruit pie filling instead. These bite sized treats are great for the morning, but also work as a snack after school or a sweet treat after dinner. They pair equally well with milk, coffee and tea. Here’s how to make Easy Air Fryer Blueberry Donut Bites.

Equipment Needed

Ingredients

  • 1x tin crescent rolls
  • 1x can blueberry pie filling
  • powdered sugar

Ohh yes please – these sound like they would be right up my street, I’m guessing you could swap out the blueberry for different ones as well perhaps some strawberry and blackberry ones too!

Now I never expected to see an airfryer donut recipe. Wow, that’s great, far less calories than fried ones. I’d love to try those. yum!!!!

I used to own an air fryer and it was brilliant for making lots of goodies and treats. I had a whole folder of air fryer recipes.

I always want to bake things in the air fryer but I’ve got one with a paddle so I don’t think it’s suitable. These look amazing! I will have to try them out and see how it goes.
