This Pressure Cooker Ham recipe is the easiest way to make ham! This simple pressure cooker recipe calls for only 6 ingredients and takes just under an hour to make from start to finish. This juicy and delicious ham is perfect for use during any time of the year and makes for easy entertaining.
I’ve had ham for almost every Easter and Christmas since I was a young child. As much as I love it, I don’t love making it. It’s just so time consuming! This past Christmas we limited our guest list to those we truly wanted to spend our time with. This made for a drama-free and stress-free day. Since the group was so much smaller, I decided to make the ham in a pressure cooker. We like ham and I like leftovers, so I knew I’d have to use my biggest electric pressure cooker (a 12-qt model). This simple pressure cooker ham recipe calls for only 6 ingredients and takes just under an hour to make. The ham came out perfectly and when I need to do a ham this size or a bit smaller in the future I will use the electric pressure cooker again. This juicy and delicious ham is perfect for use during any time of the year. It’s the simplest way to make a ham and makes for easy holiday entertaining and family gatherings. Now that I know making ham this way is so easy and works so well, we can have ham more frequently than just major holidays. Here’s how I make Pressure Cooker Ham.

- 12.5 lb bone-in shank half ham (I used Cook’s brand)
- 2 cups Cherry Coke
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup juice from the pan
Add the soda to the pot.
Add the meat to the pot.
Seal the pot and set to cook on meat (high pressure) for 20 minutes.
Shortly before the ham is finished, preheat the oven to 425.
Remove the ham from the pot and place it into a roasting pan.
Take 1/4 cup of the juice from the ham in the roasting pan and put it into a small glass mixing bowl.
Place the maple syrup, honey, brown sugar and cinnamon into the mixing bowl.
Heat the contents of the bowl for 1 minute on half power.
Stir the liquid thoroughly once it’s finished in the microwave.
Slowly pour the liquid over the ham, using a silicone pastry brush to brush all surfaces of the ham.
Cook for 15 minutes.
