- electric pressure cooker (I used a 6 qt Mealthy MultiPot)
- silicone cooking spoon
- measuring cups
- measuring spoons
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3/4 lb sweet Italian sausage
- 1 lb large pasta shells
- 2x 28 oz cans tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 4 cups water
- 8 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Turn the pressure cooker on and press the saute button.
Put the ground beef and the sausage links into the pot.
Brown the meat.
Once the meat has browned, remove the sausage links and slice them, then return them to the pot.
Add the pasta to the pot.
Pour the tomato sauce on top of the pasta, then add the seasoning and then the water.
Stir the mixture and make sure all of the pasta is covered.
Put the lid onto the pressure cooker and close it to seal.
Set the pressure cooker to cook for 5 minutes on manual high pressure.
Once the cooking cycle has completed, do a quick pressure release.
Add the ricotta to the pot and stir well.
Add the shredded mozzarella to the pot and stir well.
