This ziti is easily customizable to suit your family’s preference when it comes to the flavor, if you want it hotter just use a hotter salsa and/or taco seasoning. This recipe is great because it’s so easy to make. Using the Ninja Cooking System makes the recipe perfect for busy nights during any time of the year as it doesn’t heat up the house like an oven and it only leaves one pot to wash. Here’s how I make Taco Ziti in the Ninja Cooking System.
One-Pot Taco Ziti Recipe For Ninja Cooking System

- Ninja Cooking System (I used the Ninja Cooking System with Auto-iQ
- silicone cooking spoon
- measuring cups
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 lb ziti (I used Ronzoni Ziti #2)
- 1x 24 oz jar salsa (I used Chi-Chis Mild Thick & Chunky)
- 2x .1 oz packets taco seasoning (I used Old El Paso Original)
- 1x 29 oz can tomato sauce (I used RedPack)
- 2 cups shredded taco cheese
- 1 cup water
Set the Ninja to stovetop high.
Place the ground beef into the pot and saute it until browned.
Switch the Ninja to dry bake with an oven temperature of 350.
Place the pasta into the pot on top of the meat.
Pour the salsa over the pasta.
Add the taco seasoning to the pot.
Pour the tomato sauce and the water into the pot.
Stir the mixture until combinbed, making sure all of the pasta is covered.
Put the lid onto the Ninja and cook for 20-25 minutes, depending on how soft you like your pasta.
When 20 minutes have passed, uncover the Ninja and give a stir. Check the pasta to see if its texture suits your preference. If the pasta is a tad to firm, cover it back up and give it a few more minutes.
Once the texture is about the way you like it, sprinkle the shredded taco cheese on top of the pasta.
Recover for 5 minutes while the cheese melts.
