electric pressure cooker (I used a 6 qt Instant Pot)
• 1 box chocolate cake mix (I used Betty Crocker Butter Recipe Chocolate)
• 3/4 cup Cherry Dr Pepper (or Cherry Coke if you prefer or have that on hand)
• 3/4 cup oil
• 4 eggs
• ¼ cup chocolate chips
• powdered sugar, optional for topping when serving
• nonstick cooking spray
• 1 cup water
Place 1 cup of water into the pot.
Place the cake mix into a medium sized mixing bowl.
Add the soda and oil to the bowl and mix thoroughly.
Add the eggs into the bowl one at a time, stirring to combine in between each.
Add in the chocolate chips and stir.
Spray the bundt pan with noncooking spray.
Pour the cake mixture into the bundt pan.
Place the bundt pan onto the trivet and place them both into the pot.
Place the lid onto the pressure cooker and close to seal.
Cook on manual high pressure for 45 minutes.
Do a quick pressure release.
Let cool for a short while or serve immediately with or without powdered sugar.
