Sloppy Joe Dip is my favorite way to use my pressure cooker sloppy joes batch-cooking recipe. The slightly sweet and tangy taste of the dip blends perfectly with crunchy chips, making it a perfect snack for tv night, game night or tailgating.
Yesterday I shared my Pressure Cooker Sloppy Joes recipe. You may recall I mentioned I like to make a big batch of this, and use the mixture for other dishes. Today I’m sharing one of those dishes – Sloppy Joe Dip. The sloppy joe mixture itself is gluten-free. If you want to serve the dip as gluten-free, be sure your cheese, cream cheese and chips are all gluten-free. This is actually my favorite way to use the sloppy joe mixture. I may or may not have been seen eating this dip with a spoon. It’s got a slightly sweet and slightly tangy taste that blends perfectly with salty, crunchy chips. Here’s how I make it.
Sloppy Joe Dip
- baking dish
- measuring cup
- 1 cup sloppy joe mixture
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2-4 oz shredded cheese
Preheat the oven to 350 f.
Spray the baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Place the cream cheese into the baking dish and distribute across the bottom.
Place the sloppy joe mixture on top of the cream cheese and distribute evenly.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the sloppy joe mixture.
You can stir to mix everything together here if you like a really blended flavor, or you can warm it in layers, it’s up to your preference.
Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese on top is melted.
Serve immediately with your favorite crunchy chip.
