Reindeer Pretzel Treats
One of the many things that makes Christmas so fun is all of the fun treats that you see. Some treats, often desserts in my experience, are very detailed and take some time, patience, concentration and attention to detail. Other treats are really simple to make, so simple that they almost make themselves. Reindeer Pretzel Treats are a part of the latter group. Reindeer Pretzel Treats are cute and fun snacks that look like little reindeer faces. These snacks are a colorful mixture of sweet and salty. And best of all, these snacks require only 4 easy-to-find ingredients and are super easy to make! These treats would be perfect for any occasion during the holiday season, particularly things like family movie night, school or club gatherings, and holiday parties. Here’s instructions on how to make them.
This recipe makes 24-48 treats.
- cookie sheet
- parchment paper
- 1 bag mini pretzel twists
- 1 bag Rolos
- 2 packages edible eyes
- 1 bag Mini M&Ms
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees f.
To make the antlers, split 24 of the pretzels in half and set aside.
Place the first batch of 12 pretzels onto the cookie sheet.
Unwrap the Rolos and place them top side down onto the pretzels on the cookie sheet.
Place the cookie sheet into the oven for 5 minutes.
Once the tray comes out of the oven, quickly place the antlers into the side of the rolo.
Place a red mini M&M onto the treat in order to make the nose.
Place two eyes above the nose.
Let this set of treats sit for 10 minutes, in order for the chocolate to cool down and harden.
Make a second batch with the last 12 pretzels, repeating the above steps.
Serve and enjoy!
