Meaty Tomato Soup is made using my Meat Lovers Pasta Sauce, a 5-meat tomato sauce. The recipe is ridiculously simple & will be your new go-to comfort food!
If you’ve been reading this week then you probably recall I shared a review of a 12 quart electric pressure cooker made by Gourmia. This is the largest electric pressure cooker on the market that I have seen and I have found it to be quite outstanding for batch cooking and meal prep. With my review I shared my Meat Lovers Pasta Sauce recipe (a five meat tomato sauce with beef, sweet sausage, ham, pepperoni and bacon). Now I want to share my most favorite use for that sauce – Meaty Tomato Soup.
I love soup and can eat it year round. After I made my 5 Meat Pasta Sauce, I found myself ejoying it so much that I was eating it by the spoonful out of the bowl like soup. But it wasnt soup. And that’s when I knew in my heart it would make an outstanding soup, and that I needed to turn it into one. Turning the sauce into soup was ridiculously simple. It was so simple that I almost hate to call it a recipe. I added cream and butter to the sauce. That’s it. I love this soup and couldn’t get enough of it. I can’t say that I was a good sharer when it came to this soup. The soup is naturally gluten-free, so I did share it with my youngest, who absolutely loved it. I made this before hubby got home and since I was a bit piggish there wasn’t enough left for a full bowl for him. He did taste mine and said he really liked the taste and creamy texture. I will definitely be making this soup again. Here’s how I make it.
