Beauty and the Beast Grey Stuff Cookies And Cream Mousse is a simple homemade dessert that will bring a smile to everyone’s face.
The Beauty And The Beast live action movie releases this Friday, March 17. I do love this movie. If you’ve seen the movie, you probably remember the song “Be Our Guest”. This fun song mentions a dish called “the grey stuff”.
“Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious!
Don’t believe me? Ask the dishes!…”
Don’t remember it? This might help.
I have a fun recipe for the grey stuff for you. You’re going to love it, because it’s easy to make and very tasty. If you’re concerned that something called the grey stuff won’t be tasty, you could also call it cookies and cream mousse. Here’s the instructions on how to make it.

- mixing bowl
- rolling pin
- plastic tea cups
- ziploc bag to crush the oreos
- disposable piping decorating bag
- icing bag ties
- Wilton deluxe decorating tip set
- Wilton Quick Change Coupler
- Beauty and the Beast blu-ray (for inspiration and reference of course LOL)
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1.5 cups skim milk
- 15 Oreos (taken apart and with the filling scraped off)
- 1 container COOL WHIP
- 3 tbsp instant chocolate pudding mix
- small edible pearls
Pour the contents of the vanilla pudding into a medium size bowl.
Add the milk to the pudding and whisk for 2 minutes until it’s thick.
Add the cookies into a ziploc bag. (I like to use the one with the slider when I’m crushing things because it’s quick and I don’t have to work to close it.) Now, use a rolling pin to break up the cookies until crushed.
Pour the cookie crumbs into the vanilla pudding and mix well.
Fold in the COOL WHIP and stir.
Add in the chocolate pudding and stir.
Put the mixture into the fridge for 1 hour.
Take the piping bag and scoop the grey stuff into it.
Use an icing bag tie to close the top of the bag so that the grey stuff doesn’t come out.
Serve and enjoy!
