I like desserts. Cake is dessert. On a good day I can make a cake. I can’t decorate it though. I have never been able to make cakes that look pretty. Heck, even just plain old icing doesn’t look its best when I do it. The idea of making a cake with fancy chocolate decorations makes me smile. But I just would have no idea where to start. Which is why I accepted the offer to check out “Chocolate Modeling Cake Toppers.”
Chapters in the book include:

I can’t really call this cookbook. It’s more of a how to make book. There are tons and tons, and even more tons, of photos in this book. A chapter begins with a gorgeous color photo of a beautifully decorated cake. The pages that follow show how to make each element of the decoration. Each different element has illustrated step-by-step directions on how to make it. The photos will definitely make you want to eat cake, and probably try and make it as well. The cakes that this book shows how to make are as lovely and breathtaking as any you will find in a bakery, and are sure to impress your guests. I’d recommend this book for anyone that enjoys baking, cake decorating, and entertaining, as well as those who are just up for learning something new.
