Do you have any baking pans or cookie sheets that look like this?
Obviously I do. I bow my head in shame. I have mentioned before that I never really learned much about cooking as a child. I’ve been learning as I go on my own as an adult. I’d never used foil or parchment paper in the oven until a year or two ago. I thought foil was for wrapping. I knew next to nothing about parchment paper. So, I have baking pans such as the one you saw above.
Foil. Sometimes it tears while on the roll, getting progressively smaller and smaller. And I cut myself on the box. It’s just never been easy to use for me. Until now. Until ChicWrap.
ChicWrap is a must have for every kitchen. ChicWrap is a decorative dispenser that makes working with plastic wrap, aluminum and parchment paper a breeze. And, it looks so fun and stylish! Each sturdy dispenser is UV coated and can be wiped clean. The dispenser has a blade built into the top, activated by the new patent pending CleanCut SlideCutter. You might not even know it was there if you didn’t look at the dispenser and know what the “slide” was.
Let me show you up close.
At a quick glance, the ChicWrap dispenser looks like any other box of foil. Except nicer looking. Until you take a closer look. The first thing you’ll notice is that the box is fun to look at. Flip the box over and you’ll find four little feet, to help keep it in place while in use.
To use the ChicWrap dispenser you life the lid and slide a piece of foil out.
When you have the length you want you close the lid.
Next, you gently move the “slide” on the top of the box from left to right. This creates an even and straight cut.
Just give a gentle pull from left to right and your piece of foil is free and ready to use.
I’ve used plastic wrap for years to cover things before refrigerating or transporting but have always had problems doing so. For me plastic wrap doesn’t even make it out of the box before I’m struggling with it. It gets stuck and won’t come out of the box nicely. Then if I really work at it the cutting edge on the box cuts my finger. After lots of frustration and aggravation, I get a tangled piece of plastic that won’t stick to anything including itself.
I absolutely love the way ChicWrap dispenses plastic wrap.just pull the plastic out until you have the length you need. Use the slide to cut the plastic. Now I must warn you to get ready here. Ready for what? Ready to be amazed at how easily and nicely the plastic cuts. I have never had tightly wrapped dishes until I started using the ChicWrap dispenser.
