Hubby loves pulled pork. He doesn’t get it that often though. Why? Because I’ve never made it. I’ve only recently started making my own pulled chicken. Now that I’ve got that down I’ll be trying my hand at pulled pork. When hubby mentioned over the weekend that he could go for something different, I knew exactly where to get it. Boston Market.
Recently Boston Market introduced a new item to their menu – Slow Braised Pulled Pork. The pork is available with two sauces – Zesty BBQ Sauce and Garlic Citrus Sauce. Now hubby does like a pulled pork sandwich, but even more than that he enjoys pulled pork over things like rice. The really great thing about the Slow Braised Pulled Pork at Boston Market is that you can choose how to have it. I don’t mean just the sauce, I also mean as a meal.
Boston Market is offering the new pulled pork in three ways:
- Slow Braised Pulled Pork and Signature Rotisserie Chicken Platter, served with two classic sides and cornbread
- Slow Braised Pulled Pork Platter, served with two classic sides and cornbread (available in regular and large)
- Pulled Pork Sandwich Served on White or Multi-Grain Artisan Bread
Since I wanted to surprise hubby with something different I selected the Garlic Citrus Sauce, since I’d never seen a pulled pork dish with that anywhere before. I chose to get him the platter, and requested creamed spinach and steamed vegetables, two of his favorite Boston Market sides. I really liked that you could get the sauces either on top of the meat or on the side. The pork was juicy and tender all on its own.
If you’re on the go you can stop into your nearby Boston Market and have a quick lunch. If you have more time, take a night off from cooking and bring it home to enjoy with the family. No matter which way you decide to have it or where you decide to eat it, you’re going to have to hurry. New Slow Braised Pulled Pork at Boston Market is only going to be available until May 31, 2015.
ONE winner will receive a $50 Boston Market GC.
