I was invited to this event and unfortunately could not attend. Fellow Tristate Bloggers member Krista of The NYC Talon was kind enough to stand in for me. This is a guest post written by Krista. All of the photos are hers and used with permission.
I’ve always loved oatmeal, my favorite being the instant Quaker oatmeal cups. But Quaker has recently shaken things up and released their new Warm & Crunchy Granola. Quaker’s Warm & Crunchy Granola is a multigrain granola mixture curated by Quaker that can be eaten dry or as a hot cereal.
I have to be completely honest, before trying Warm & Crunchy I was really cynical about it. I felt sure that I wouldn’t like a crunchy version of oatmeal – boy was I wrong! I don’t know how Quaker makes their granola, but it’s perfect, not soft but also not painfully crunchy – it make’s eating it a really enjoyable experience. I would definitely replace some of my oatmeal with this, I was really surprised with how much I loved having something to crunch on!
Quaker’s Warm & Crunchy comes in three different flavors – Honey Almond, Apple Cinnamon, and my personal favorite, Cranberry Almond. Each box contains eight packages, which I love because they are perfect for travel!
Right now Quaker wants to know “What accomplishments are you CRUNCHing through today?” and when you log on to their Facebook page where you can share your “Crunch Day” moments socially using the hashtag #CrunchDay. When you do, your profile pic will be added to a mosaic that will reveal a surprise image. For participating, fans will receive $1.50 off a box of Quaker Warm & Crunchy Granola (while supplies last)!
