I was invited to this event and unfortunately could not attend. Fellow Tristate Bloggers member Krista of The NYC Talon was kind enough to stand in for me. Lucky girl, I’ve been contemplating banana bread coffee since I read this. This is a guest post written by Krista.

Coffee in the morning is a habit I will never break, for me it make’s mornings bearable – which is why I was so happy to join Life is good at Penn Station this morning as they served up hot cups of coffee to NYC commuters. Life is good pulled together a fun little coffee-corner complete with live music by singer-songwriter Dan Mills, where busy travelers could stop for a cup of coffee and enter to win giveaways by tweeting with the #LifeisgoodCoffee hashtag!
Life is good is a well known retail brand, and they recently teamed up with well-known household brand, J.M. Smuckers, to create their line of gourmet coffee. Made with 100 percent Arabica beans, Life is good coffee is UTZ-certified to promote sustainable farming and comes in three roasts and two flavors:
- Happy Medium
- S’more to Love
- Dark & Daring
- Banana Bread Bliss
- Light Hearted
I had a cup of S’more to Love – “a rich campfire classic that features melty chocolate, graham cracker and fluffy marshmallow flavors”. I loved the flavor (and the name), it was most definitely the perfect way to start my morning!
I could tell that New Yorker’s were appreciative – it’s been so cold out, and being able to walk in or out of Penn Station with a free cup of coffee (and a $1 off coupon to boot!) was a welcome and rare treat!
Life is good coffee is available at stores nationwide and on lifeisgood.com, & retails at about $7.99 for an 11oz bag.
