I wanted to try making garlic bread on the grill. This seemed like a logical way to do it. It turned out nice and crispy. I love how easy it was to make, particularly since we all love garlic bread but hate to have the house even hotter in the summer because the oven is on. Anyway, here’s how I made it.
Easy Grilled Garlic Bread
- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
Preheat grill using a medium heat.
Cut loaf of bread in half horizontally and place the halves of bread on a piece of aluminum foil.
Mix olive oil and garlic together.
Cover the top of the bread with the olive oil mixture. If you have little pools of the olive oil just slowly turn your bread from side to side until the excess olive oil drips to an empty spot on the bread.
Grill 10-15 minutes, until turning golden brown.
Remove from grill and serve immediately.
