Did you ever see those tubs of already cooked pulled pork and shredded chicken in the grocery store? Two brands I’ve seen in my area are Lloyd’s and Curly’s, and they go on sale from time to time. We like them, but I often find myself thinking what else we can do with them besides microwave it and eat it on sandwiches. Recently I found them on a really good sale and picked up a couple. I decided to see what would happen when I combined it a starch in the crockpot. Here’s what I came up with. It’s really easy to make, just be sure you mix it well and stir it occasionally or it will get really sticky. The marriage of the pulled pork, ravioli and cheese make a yummy, gooey, filling meal. (And unfortunately a less then spectacular picture.)
Crockpot Pulled Pork And Ravioli
- 2x 1 lb containers refrigerated pulled pork
- 1x 25 oz bag frozen cheese ravioli (or several smaller boxes of bags totaling near that amount)
- 8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Spray crock with nonstick cooking spray.
Place 4-5 tablespoons of water on the bottom of the crockpot. You want just enough there to wet the bottom of the crockpot.
Place the frozen ravioli in the bottom of the crockpot.
Pour all of the pulled pork over the ravioli, taking care to mix well and completely cover it.
Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over top.
Cook on high for approximately 2.5 hours, stirring about every 30 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.
