For this recipe I used my new Crock-Pot “Browning” Slow Cooker.
- 1 lb chicken
- 1 lb ziti
- 1/2 cup crumbled bacon
- 2 cups ricotta
- 28 oz diced tomatoes (basil garlic oregano seasoned)
Cover chicken with water and boil chicken halfway.
Remove chicken, leaving about 2 cups of water in the crockpot.
Place ziti in the crockpot.
Cut chicken into chunks and place in crockpot.
Sprinkle bacon across crockpot evenly.
Place tomatoes in crockpot.
Cook on high for 2.5 hours
Add ricotta cheese to content of crockpot and mix well.
Cook for another 15 minutes.
Serve with salt and pepper to taste.
