INGREDIENTS
- 6 oz shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup bacon
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 lb linguine
- 6 oz pepperoni
- 2x 15 oz cans pizza sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
Cook pasta.
Spray inside of crock with nonstick coking spray.
Drain pasta.
Mix 1 of the 15 oz cans of pizza sauce with the pasta.
Lay pasta down, covering the bottom of the crock.
Mix pepperoni, ground beef, bacon, mozzarella and 1 can of the sauce.
Lay that meat mix down over the layer of pasta in the crock.
Sprinkle 2 oz mozzarella across the meat layer..
Cook on high in slow cooker for 2 hours.
Serve and enjoy. Garlic bread goes really well with this.

How does this compare to traditional spaghetti and traditional pizza.

Neat. For people on a Paleo-style diet, they could omit the noodles or use a low-carb one.

Will it taste the same if I use ground pork? My grandmother doesn’t eat beef, but I totally want to try this recipe.

I’d bet it would taste fine that way, since the bacon is pork and the pepperoni has pork, pork should go just fine. Give it a try, let me know how it turns out!
