I love one pot meals because it’s less things for me to wash. I’d never done spaghetti in one pot and decided I wanted to give it a try. It came out really well, first time around. We liked it because the flavor of the tomatoes got into the pasta but left the flavor on the mild side. It wasn’t acidic at oil, it was more like a tomato flavored olive oil almost. It’s so simple.
- 1 lb angel hair pasta
- 1x 28oz can peeled tomatoes
- 1.5 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Brown the ground beef in a large pan. Cook almost all of the way through, it will finish cooking with the rest of the ingredients.
Add the angel hair pasta into the pan.
Add the tomatoes, garlic powder and onion powder to the pan.
Bring contents of the pan to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Lower the flame and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Serve and enjoy, using salt and pepper to taste.
