MENU IDEAS MONDAY
From Val’s Kitchen has teamed up to bring you a few other bloggers to bring you this recipe linky. This will run every Monday. This will be a great opportunity for you to find and share menu ideas. Some weeks I’ll be sharing a recipe of my own, while other weeks I’ll be featuring one of the your recipes (from those submitted the previous week).
To get things started this week, I’m going to feature a super quick and super easy dessert I love to make.
We love pudding, and almost always have some instant pudding in the house. This is a really tasty dessert that’s great for family. It’s also great for entertaining friends at a BBQ or picnic. It’s super easy to make and so yummmmmmy!
EASY BLACK AND WHITE PUDDING PIE RECIPE
- 1 Oreo pie crust
- 1 package of instant chocolate pudding
- 1 package of instant vanilla pudding
Open package of pie crust. (Yep, I actually wrote that, LOL.)
In a bowl, mix the 1 package of vanilla pudding with 2 cups of milk.
Pour the vanilla pudding into the pie crust.
Rinse the bowl out so you can use it again.
Mix the 1 package of chocolate pudding with 2 cups of milk.
Pour the chocolate pudding into the pie crust, on top of the chocolate.
Put in the refrigerator to set for at least an hour.
For a slightly more decorative look, garnish with whipped cream. Alternatively, you can put the chocolate layer down first then the vanilla,. Then you can pull a knife through the layers of pudding to make a swirl on top before putting it in the frig to set. Or, you can withhold a tiny bit of the chocolate powder mix and sprinkle it across lightly for a little color.
Now let’s see what you’re cooking up!
Please post the direct link to your recipe, not your blog. All others will be removed.
By linking up you are giving me permission to feature your recipe and photo, crediting you of course.
And last but not least, be sure to visit again next Monday for a new recipe and to link up!
