One of the fun things that restaurants do is offer seasonal menus. I am fascinated by food, and think it’s really interesting to see how the chefs use foods in different ways then they usually do. P.F. Chang’s is no exception, and has recently introduced their new Fall Seasonal Menu.
The new items available on the fall seasonal menu include:

- Crispy Korean Chicken Wings
- Miso Chicken
- Harvest Vegetable Quinoa “Fried Rice”
- Vietnamese Noodles with Steak & Shrimp
- Citrus Mustard Prawns
I don’t know about you but I imagine an Apple Cinnamon Martini would be delicious! I’m also thinking that Apple Dessert Wontons would be pretty yummy too!
To celebrate the arrival of fall and these new seasonal menu items, P.F. Chang’s is also hosting The Goodness of Fall Contest on Facebook. In this contest, contestants are required to create at least three unique fall dishes highlighting three of the seasonal ingredients that are used on the new fall seasonal menu. Contestants will include 3-5 images of their creation and submit them.The top five recipes will then be submitted to a panel of judges for a chance to win the grand prize.
Prizes include: a $50 daily P.F. Chang’s gift card winner; The grand prize winner and one lucky guest will win a two-night trip to Napa in Spring of 2014, including an exclusive visit to the guest house at a Napa Valley vineyard where judges Philip Chiang and Yuji Iwasa will be cooking some of their favorite dishes. Director of Beverage Mary Melton will also be there, guiding the winners through an extensive wine tasting. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime Napa Valley getaway!

For the contest, this is what I’d love to submit.
I’d make a flank steak with a beef sauce, which I’d serve over a bed of white rice.
To add color to the plate, I’d serve with Chinese broccoli and corn.
And wrapping up, for dessert I’d make a trifle with green apples.
