I attended this event as a guest of QVC. As always, any personal opinions reflected in this post are my own and have not been influenced by the sponsor in any way.

Last Wednesday evening QVC hosted an incredible evening with David, from In The Kitchen With David. Not only is he incredibly talented in the kitchen, he and QVC sure know how to throw a great party.
We had a chance to meet David Venable, his awesome QVC team, and taste some of those amazing recipes that David cooked up from his cookbook. I am sure that my mouth and stomach are still celebrating the Bacon Mac and Cheese becaue it really was absolutely breathe taking. They had some amazing food items for everyone there.
On the QVC tour, we got to see all of the secrets behind that station we know and love. Our marvelous tour guide Matt, even let us peak in on the segment that David did with Emeril Lagasse! A huge and pleasant surprise!
The incredible sets on QVC are beautifully decorated and inviting, they just scream welcome, come on in and take a seat.
After seeing that though, it was fun to see just how much work goes into making the show a success. The hustling and bustling of the behind the scences kitchen, prepping for everything that they are going to highlight. All of the items that are laid out for the shows, and all the prep. There is nothing like seeing a 5 tier shelf full of the same purse in several different colors for an upcoming show. Wow!
Most of all it was great to hear so much about the products they feature, and the amazing people who have all the hardwork and dedication that makes a show likes David’s so much fun to watch.
Before the night was over we even had a chance to stay for David’s Food Cooking Court, with three featured guests, Start Jones, and Haylie Duff (Real Girl’s Kitchen) went head to head in the kitchen, and Sunny Anderson judged the competition with David. I am still trying to figure out how Star Jones’s Lobster Mac and Cheese didn’t win, but they wouldn’t let me be a taste tester so I will have to trust the judges made the right decision.
This was a great experience, and we are so happy that QVC allowed us to be part of it! Until the next time, we will just keep cooking and shopping with David!
