- 3 lbs ground beef
- 1 box jumbo shells
- 4 oz shredded mozzarella
- 24 oz sauce
- 16 oz cream cheese
- 1 tbsp onion powder (can be more or less depending on your taste)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder (can be more or less depending on your taste)
Preheat oven to 375.
Spray a large baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Boil the shells according to the instruction on the package.
Brown ground beef.
While browning ground beef, soften cream cheese in microwave.
Remove ground beef from flame and drain fat.
In large mixing bowl combine ground beef, softened cream cheese, mozzarella and spices.
Remove shells from water, then drain and rinse.
You’re now going to fill the shells one at a time, holdng a shell in one hand and using the other hand to fill.
Using a tablespoon, spoon mixture into shells.
Place the stuffed shells onto the baking pan. I lay mine down right next to each other so that they sort of hold each other up. Also this way I only have to cook one batch.
Pour some sauce across the lines of shells. There’s no need to smother them, unless you really want to.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the shells.
Bake for about 15 minutes, until cheese is starting to melt.
