ABOUT DISNEY IT’S A SMALL WORLD: FEED OUR SMALL WORLD: A COOKBOOK FOR KIDS
Go on a tasty tour around the globe with Feed Our Small World: A Cookbook for Kids! With simple step-by-step instructions, helpful cooking tips, and color photos of each dish, this book is just the ticket if you want to make magic in the kitchen. Enjoy French quiche for breakfast, Indian chicken curry for lunch, Indonesian beef satay for dinner, and Scottish shortbread for dessert! Plus there are fascinating facts about each culture included throughout.
I received a copy of Disney It’s a Small World: Feed Our Small World: A Cookbook for Kids. Chapters include Bonjour Breakfasts, Lickety-Split Lunches, Delizioso Dinners, and Dreamy Desserts. Recipes are well written and easy to understand. Each recipe is accompanied by a photo, the country the dish is from and a little information about the dish. Colorful clipart and fun facts are scattered throughout the book. The only thing missing to make the recipes perfect is cooking and prep time. I do find them invaluable in deciding what recipe I’m going to make but if you’re going to be spending the time with your kids in the kitchen cooking you probably aren’t in a hurry. Recipes I’m looking forward to making with one or both of my boys include Morning Fiesta Mini Frittatas, Jammin Jammy Scones, Cheddar Cheese-tastic Soup, Chicken Or The Egg Rice Bowl, Dolce Ricotta Pie, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie. I really like that Disney has put together a group of recipes for parents and kids to make together, and that a portion of the book sales go to the organization FEED, in order to help provide Vitamin A to kids in need. This cookbook would be great for anyone with kids.
