A new survey, commissioned by NESTLE Coffee-mate to celebrate their 50th Anniversary, discovered that half of Americans would rather gain 10 pounds than give up coffee for life. That’s some serious coffee compassion!
Coffee has been a part of our world’s culture since the 9th century, bringing Americans a much needed vice and “kick” each morning to start their day. In fact, the survey found that making coffee is the most important part of the morning – more people do this first that any other activity when they wake up. It’s only natural we recognize September 29th as National Coffee Day and embrace our inner caffeine fiend.
Since most of America (72%) doesn’t like to drink their coffee black, try one of these delicious and easy coffee-house quality recipes at home and channel your inner Barista!

Did you know that Coffee-Mate has more than 25 flavors? We love Coffee-Mate. When it goes on sale we stock up. And I do mean stock up, sometimes as many as 8 bottles. We don’t use sugar or milk so I like to get a variety so that we can switch up the flavor whenever we want. Recently I had the opportunity to try two of the newer flavors from the Cafe Collection – Cafe Mocha and White Caramel Chocolate Latte. We liked the both, hubby liking the Cafe Mocha a little more and me liking the White Caramel Chocolate Latte a little more. Both flavors were smooth and creamy and made our coffee yummy!
