How many ovens do you have? I have one. My Mom used to have a double and growing up I couldn’t understand why. Now I do. It seems like half of the time I cook something in the oven I want to cook something else (usually a ham) at the same time. Problem is, I don’t have room in the oven for the second thing. I’ve had occasions where I couldn’t even fit a loaf of garlic bread in there. My Mom gave me a solution – cook one of the items in something else. She loaned me a huge electric roaster that she has and it solved the problem. The roaster easily accommodates a big ham and the ham comes out nicely. I’ve decided that I’d like to get my own electric roaster rather than borrow hers all of the time.
It’s time to perform some business analytics on our home budget and do some pricing. I’ve only ever used Mom’s so I don’t know much about other models. Do you have an electric roaster? What kind and do you recommend it?
Once I get one I’ll be perform the home equivalent of AB split testing to see if I like the way the turkey or the ham comes out better when having been cooked in the electric roaster.
