Better Oats National Oatmeal Month And National Heart Month Giveaway

We'd love it if you shared it!

I’ve always liked oatmeal. It’s a great way to warm up from the inside on a cold, winter day. I always have a packet or two of oatmeal in my bag for work. Oatmeal is a tasty, filling breakfast and there are so many flavors you can find one for any mood you’re in. Recently I learned about a new brand of Oatmeal called Better Oats, which is made by Malt-O-Meal and arrived in stores in 2010.

Oatmeal is a healthy breakfast. You may or may not have known that January was National Oatmeal Month. I didn’t until last week. February is National heart Month. In a way February could be Oatmeal Month too, as according to the Mayo Clinic oatmeal is one of the top five foods that lower cholesterol and improve heart health.  I haven’t tasted Better Oats oatmeal yet but the package is very handy. As someone who has to guesstimate how much water to add when they bring instant oatmeal to work, the built in measuring cup package would be really helpful to me. With 28 flavors you could go more than a month without eating the same thing twice! Also, with that much variety even fussy eaters can surely find flavors they’ll enjoy.

MORE ABOUT BETTER OATS

With 34 unique varieties, this complete line offers a better option when it comes to instant oatmeal. Made with 100% whole grain oats and flax in every pouch, Better Oats is making it simple for consumers to enjoy good nutrition at breakfast. Better Oats instant oatmeal is a good source of Omega-3 and is naturally trans-fat and cholesterol free. Each Better Oats variety also touts its own unique benefits. USDA Certified Organic RAW Pure & Simple™, for example, is made with five whole grains, including quinoa and barley; Abundance® is a good source of fiber and a good source of protein, and Oat Heads™, for kids, is a good source of calcium, Vitamin D and antioxidant vitamins A and E. So whatever your nutritional preferences may be, Better Oats offers a variety to meet your needs.

From texture to flavor, Better Oats is committed to providing consumers with great-tasting instant oatmeal. Some Better Oats varieties utilize old-fashioned oats, which are heartier than the instant oats used by the category leader. Better Oats also sources quality ingredients, like real berries, premium chocolate, and unique spices, which contribute to the brand’s distinctively bold taste. With 34 different offerings, Better Oats provides consumers with the ability to personalize their oatmeal experience with varieties like traditional Oat Revolution™, Oat Fit™ for the weight-conscious, mmm … Muffins™ for a sweet start to the day, Lavish™ to satisfy chocolate cravings and Oat Revolution™ Thick & Hearty for an old-fashioned oatmeal experience instantly. Varieties of Mom’sBest Naturals® –which include Plain Grain Organic and Dark Chocolate – are found exclusively in the natural food/organic aisle in supermarkets nationwide.

Better Oats has also developed more convenient and environmentally friendly packaging. The Better Oats instant oatmeal pouch doubles as an easy-to-use Measuring Cup Pouch™, simplifying breakfast on-the-go and ensuring a positive oatmeal experience. The space-saving package is also better for the planet and the pantry, generating up to 35%* less waste than existing cartons in the oatmeal aisle and taking up less space on kitchen shelf.

Better Oats varieties are available at grocery stores nationwide. Suggested retail price is $1.25 to $1.99 per box. For more information about Better Oats, visit www.BetterOats.com.
