The folks at Ola Loa read my EmergenC review and asked me if I’d be willing to try their powdered multivitamin. The Ola Loa slogan is Drink your vitamins. With a slogan like that how could I not be curious. A variety pack arrived shortly before my surgery, which I put aside to review after and here we are.

Ola Loa has a number of varieties – Sport, Energy, Repair and Kids. Sport is available in Mixed Berry, Lemon Lime and Mango Tangerine. Energy is available in Tropical and Cran-Raspberry and Orange. Repair is in Orange flavor. Kids is in Cran-Raspberry flavor.
In the two weeks since I started using this I’ve tried each of the Sport and Energy flavors and am nearing the end of the box. The product is very easy to use. One serving comes in a small packet. One packet is only 10 calories and 2 grams of carbohydrates. It’s gluten free and lactose free. To make it you just mix it with a 4-6 ounce glass of cold water. What’s great about the product is that it’s premeasured and perfect size for people on the go.
When you mix the Ola Loa with water you get an effervescent water. I’m not a fan of fizzy water so I just waited a minute and the fizzing stopped. While I wouldn’t say any one of the flavors tasted out out of this world fantastic, the Ola Loa tasted much better then the EmergenC that I tried. I didn’t care for most of the flavors, they had a taste that reminded me of a children’s poly-vi-flor vitamin. The two flavors I didn’t mind of the six that I tried were the Mixed Berry flavor and the Cran-Raspberry flavor. I didn’t notice any difference in my energy level or health. That’s not to say that it didn’t work, just that I didn’t notice it – possibly because I now take vitamins and protein supplements daily because of the surgery.
If you like fizzy water or if you want to add vitamins to your diet without taking pills give Ola Loa a look.
