If you think you’ve seen a Little Debbie cupcake car in your area, you’re not going into chocolate withdrawal or imagining things. It’s for real. There are actually four of them making their way across the nation as part of the Little Debbie National Share-A-Thon. From October 11 through December 12 the cupcake cars will be traveling to 21 major cities including Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Manchester, Hartford, Scranton, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Detroit, Chicago, St Louis, Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix and Los Angeles. During the Share-A-Thon the company will be giving away 1 million cupcakes and other prizes including a year’s supply of free cupcakes and GPS devices. They’re even giving away one of the Cupcake Cars!
Wondering what the Little Debbie Share-A-Thon is about? It’s about cupcakes. Recently Little Debbie added Chocolate Cupcakes to their product family. I received a box of them and they are really good. The cupcake is made of chocolate cake and has chocolate icing. The filling is a vanilla crème. They’re very moist and the taste is terrific. I loved it because when you take a bite you taste far more cupcake and icing than filling. The Little Debbie kitchens worked for three years to perfect the recipe, going through 119 variations of the product before they came up with just the right one.
One box of Little Debbie Chocolate Cupcakes contains 8 cupcakes and has a suggested retail price of $3.09.
Little Debbie is on Facebook too! Become a fan and you can enter the giveaway right from the Facebook fan page.
