Chicken broth is such a versatile thing. Unfortunately it can be really hard to find good broth. Many of the generic chicken broths are barely more than water, their yellow tinted water being bland and flavorless. I tried Manischewitz Chicken Broth this week and was really surprised at how good it was. The canned broth is a bright golden color. It’s very flavorful, it’s more like homemade chicken stock than canned broth. I used it when making some rice and found the rice to be more flavorful than when made the same way with generic brands of broth. RB and I agreed that it tasted terrific and that we would be picking it up in the future. We both liked that it contains all natural ingredients and no MSG.
