Gluten-free Ranch Mashed Potatoes Recipe For Ninja Cooking System From Val's Kitchen

I love mashed potatoes. We eat them “plain” all of the time, but sometimes I like to change them up a bit. Ranch is a flavor that I really like and it tastes so good in and on potatoes. So I decided to take the recipe for mashed potatoes that came with my Ninja and adapt it to give it ranch flavor and an even creamier texture. They are sooooo good! I would have happily added more ranch seasoning but hubby doesn’t love it quite as much as I do so I didn’t go all out. Here’s how I make them.

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs of potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 5 tbsp powdered ranch seasoning (I used Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix)

Instructions

Place the potatoes and water into pot.

Set the Ninja to oven 350 f.

Cook for 30 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.

Switch the Ninja to stovetop low.

Add the butter and milk and start to mash the potatoes.

Add in the ranch seasoning and garlic powder.

Serve immediately with salt and pepper to taste. If not serving immediately set to Buffet/Warm for 1 hour until you are ready to serve.

  1. I grew up eating ranch mashed potatoes growing up all the time! Although, my ranch mashed potatoes were just mashed potatoes covered in ranch dressing – the poor man’s version, lol!

  2. This recipe sounds delicious for the ninja ranch mashed potatoes. It is always great when you can switch things up like mash potatoes.   3. I make my own mashed potatoes. Boiling, mashing, seasoning it. The instant mashed potatoes you can buy at the store just doesn’t taste the same. I will try you ranch mashed potato recipe. It looks so delicious!
