Lego Brownies Recipe From Val's Kitchen

Legos are a much-loved toy that the majority of children have played with. They’re so colorful and versatile and easy to play with. I can’t think of a single bad thing to say about them, except that stepping on them really hurts. With nice weather arriving, there will be more and more gatherings, parties, barbeques and picnics. Lego brownies are a perfect dessert for any of those occasions. They’re easy to make so they’ll be a hit with you, and they’re just fun so they’ll be a hit with your guests. Here’s instructions how to make them.

  • large deep sauce pan
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 3 bowls
  • 1 baking sheet
  • measuring cup
  • measuring spoons

Brownie Ingredients

  • 1 box of brownie mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup water

Icing Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tarter
  • 3 cups powder sugar
  • blue, red and green gel colors
  • blue red and green M&M’s

Brownie Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f.

Tear off a piece of parchment paper, making sure it’s long enough that it will come up the sides of the pan.

Spray with nonstick cooking spray.

Prepare the brownie mix according to the instructions on back of the box.

Once the brownie mix is ready, pour it into the baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes.

When finished baking, set aside to cool.

Icing Instructions

Combine all ingredients except the colors and M&M’s in a large mixing bowl or in the bowl of a stand mixer.

Mix on medium speed until combined or until the icing is bright white.

Add in 1/2 cup of powdered sugar if the icing is a yucky yellow soup.

Once the icing is ready, divide it into 3 bowls and add in a color to each bowl.

Cut the brownies into small rectangles.

Using the bottom side of the brownie, dip the brownie into the icing.

Set the brownies onto a baking sheet.

Once all brownies have been dipped, add 6 M&M’s to the respective color brownie.

Let sit out for 1 hour before serving.

  1. Those are seriously cute! Now that I’ve been following all these fun blogs, I want to bake and cook and travel! Maybe even have kids! hahaha Super cute. I would totally make these if I had a child or a themed party.
