Heston’s Fantastical Food

Premiering Friday, September 1st at 8pmET/5pmPT – “Heston’s Giant Ice Cream”

The Ice Cream truck provides the soundtrack to so many childhoods, and the frozen treats every kid dreams of. To bring back the magic of the ice cream van, Heston plans to build the world’s biggest ice cream cone, over 16 feet tall, and serve it from the back of his very own ice cream truck, to a whole town at once! This is the biggest challenge he has ever faced as his ice cream will weigh over 2,000 pounds, that’s the equivalent of 10,000 normal sized ice creams and will take a month to freeze. With a whole town willing him on, Heston struggles to realize his biggest ever ambition, and bring a great British tradition back to life for everyone.

Premiering Friday, September 8th at 8pmET/5pmPT – “Tea Break”

Heston celebrates the most notable of British occasions, the tea break, by bringing it back on such a massive scale when a whole town is brought together for a brew. Tea and biscuits are still a staple of Britain, with 185 million cups washed down a day. The tea break was once a time for families, friends and work colleagues to get together. It was once so important; factory workers went on strike for the privilege. Heston takes on the challenge of creating the world’s biggest packet of biscuits. To accompany the giant biscuits, Heston attempts to brew enough tea for an entire town. But will his 16-foot-tall Teapot help to remind the town people the importance of tea time?

Premiering Friday, September 15th at 8pmET/5pmPT – “Heston and the Giant Sweet Shop”

Heston celebrates the biggest excitement of childhood, sweets, by making his own Willy Wonka inspired giant sweet shop. When it comes to adult life the magic surrounding our sugary delights has gone, but things were different when we were children. Heston himself recalls the utter joy of the endless jars with row upon row of choices and the tough decision of how to spend his pocket money. After visiting a real chocolate factory Heston and his helpers set upon the mission of making the world’s biggest Rolos – each filled with a different, but equally wonderful sweet shop delight. Then in true Wonka fashion, Heston embarks on a mission to make a meal from chewing gum. Can Heston make savory gum work? Heston’s biggest hurdle is the giant sweet shop itself, and paying homage to a fictional wonderland of Wonka’s chocolate factory is no small feat.

Premiering Friday, September 22nd at 8pmET/5pmPT – “Pub Pie”

Heston tries to put the fun back into the food and drink of the great British pub. For centuries, the local taverns have been a wondrous mix of good times, hearty grub and beer that’s made Britain famous the world over. But British pubs are disappearing fast. With around eighteen locals a week shutting their doors for good, this national institution is losing its magic. Heston wants to rekindle the love for the beloved institution and its timeless food and drink by building a giant pie and turning it into the world’s most amazing pub. It’s one of his most ambitious projects ever.

Premiering Friday, September 29th at 8pmET/5pmPT – “The Massive Lunch Box”

Heston celebrates the packed lunch by creating a larger than life experience for a group of adults bored with the drudgery of their monotonous lunchtimes. By filling an entire theme park with nostalgic packed lunch favorites and inviting his disillusioned lunchers on a surprise school trip Heston hopes to brings back the magic and excitement to their lunchtimes on an epic scale. Armed with vats of molten chocolate Heston lives out a childhood dream of creating the world’s biggest Kit Kat. Packed with a staggering combination of mouth-watering flavors and weighing in at a hefty 320 pounds his creation requires a tool box to eat it. But that’s only if he can transport and turn it out of the mold in time for the big reveal.
