Wordless Wednesday – Something Got My First Tomato Plant

This was the first year we tried growing tomatoes. Big ones, not cherry. Something got to them. If you’ve got any tomato growing tips, please feel free to share.

I HATE the misuse of the word retarded. I take it personally and find it very offensive.











The weatgher was not the best this year.
It looks like the beginning of blight. Next year if you see it happening again, I would recommend dumping out the dirt, washing the pots very well. It is a disease that is affecting the tomatoes because it spreads and stays in the soil.
Thanks Debbie, I’ll have to red about that. The first 2 tomatoes were fine but this batch wasn’t even edible, I was so disappointed. We’ve done cherry tomatoes for 2 years and never had a problem and I thought these would be basically the same.
