I wanted to make a casserole the other day, but was also in the mood for a pierogi. The result was this Cheesy Pierogi Casserole. It was really easy to make and so yummy!
INGREDIENTS
2x 13 oz packages frozen pierogis
1x 8 oz package cream cheese
1x tub chicken stock
3 cups water
1 lb sausage (I used 14 oz Johnsonville Beddar Cheddar Sausages, any sausage you like would be fine)
4-6 oz shredded cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Lightly spray 13×9 baking dish with non stick cooking spray.
Lay frozen pierogis inside dish.

Sprinkle the sliced sausage over the pierogis.

In a saucepan, mix cream cheese, tub of chicken stock and water.
Stir frequently until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Pour the sauce over the pierogis.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of the pierogis.

Bake 20 minutes.
Renove from oven and let stand for 5-10 minutes. Sauce will thicken.

Serve and enjoy.
