One of my youngest son’s favorite afternoon snacks are fruit snacks. Recently I was offered the opportunity to try some of the newer flavors of Welch’s Fruit Snacks.
ABOUT WELCH’S FRUIT SNACKS
The Welch’s name has been built on the highest quality fruit, proudly grown on family farms. In this tradition of wholesome goodness come Welch’s Fruit Snacks. Moms and Dads love that every pack is made with real fruit and real fruit juices, is fat free, gluten-free, and contains no preservatives. Both kids and adults LOVE the delicious taste. Welch’s Fruit Snacks contain 100% of the recommended daily value of Vitamin C and 25% of Vitamins A and E. Welch’s® Fruit Snacks Reduced Sugar variety is recognized as a Healthier Snacking option by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
I received samples of Welch’s Fruit Snacks. Welch’s Fruit Snacks are available in 9 different varieties, including Mixed Fruit, Berries ‘N Cherries, Strawberry, Fruit Punch, Island Fruits, Concord Grape, White Grape Peach, White Grape Raspberry and Reduced Sugar. We all like fruit snacks in our house, and I’m pretty familiar with the small snack size packages that fruit snacks usually come in. The 80-calorie individual size pouches are great for portion control, and as a snack for one. But for those times when several people in the family want fruit snacks, sharing one pouch isn’t really the answer and opening multiple pouches isn’t the most economical or practical ting to do. I was pleased to learn that Welch’s Fruit Snacks is now available in a larger 1.75 oz pouch, perfect for families and sharing. I love that these fruit snacks are gluten-free, as my youngest has Celiac Disease. I also like knowing that they’re made with real fruit and have no preservatives. Out of the varieties that I tried, my favorite was the Berries N Cherries, which has strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and cherry. I’ve never tried the White Grape Peach or White Grape Raspberry but think they sound yummy and will be on the lookout for them.
Welch’s Fruit Snacks are available nationwide in grocery stores, club stores, mass merchandisers, convenience stores, movie theaters, vending machines, theme parks and more.
