ABOUT THE BIG BOOK OF BABYCAKES CUPCAKE MAKER RECIPES
The ingenious invention of the Babycakes® cupcake maker has been met with unprecedented popularity and this resulted in 175 Best Babycakes® Cupcake Maker Recipes becoming a runaway bestseller. The creative and sumptuous recipes resonated with consumers and retailers alike — fun, bite-sized enjoyment without the guilt.
This incredible popularity and demand has prompted another book on the topic — more in-depth, and with slightly more sophisticated flavors that reflect both current cupcake trends and old-fashioned delicacies. It’s a complete and wide-ranging cookbook that still features all of the fun of the original but also contains more detail on specialty uses like holidays, occasions, entertaining, cooking for and with kids, smaller servings, gluten-free, dairy free and even vegan diets. As well, due to strong consumer feedback, the savory section has been expanded to feature more appetizers, biscuits and more.
Dozens of large step-by-step photos at the beginning of the book depict decorating ideas and skills, providing easy-to-follow inspiration and ideas. They include photos for cupcakes, pie crusts, phyllo cups, wonton cups and an array of fillings and frostings. Both novice and experienced bakers will appreciate these detailed photos.
Packed with fun, flavor and delectable cake morsels of every imaginable flavor, color and coating, the incredibly creative chapters offer unique ideas for countless recipes and occasions. They’ll take you from breakfast and after-school snacks to bridal showers and elegant parties.
Kathy Moore and Roxanne Wyss are leading experts on small appliances and they wrote the booklet that is packed with the Babycakes® cake pop maker by Select Brands. They are the founders of The Electrified Cooks, www.pluggedintocooking.com.
I received a copy of The Big Book Of Babycakes Cupcake Maker Recipes.
Major sections include:
- Getting Started
- Sweet Treats
- Mealtime Favorites
- Babycakes for Everybody
- Entertaining Made Easy
I got a BabyCakes machine a while back, It came with a very limited instruction book, which is what makes this book great. There aren’t many photos in this book. I do wish there were more photos, as baked goods are some of my favorite things to look at. There are some nice photo tutorials towards the front of the book for tips and techniques. The recipes are easy to understand. The recipes don’t contain cooking time but almost all of them are within the 6 to 10 minute window for cooking. Many of the recipes also include tips and variation as well. This would be a great book for anyone with children, as well as folks that wants to experiment with smaller servings, hors d’oevres size appetizers, and just baking for fun.
