There’s a new peanut butter out there – Planters NUT-rition Peanut Butter.
ABOUT PLANTERS NUT-RITION PEANUT BUTTER
PLANTERS, America’s leading snack nut brand, is adding a new adult taste to the peanut butter category with the launch of PLANTERS NUT●rition peanut butter. PLANTERS NUT●rition peanut butter is the first national brand to take peanut butter to a whole new level for adults with the addition of wholesome ingredients like bananas, granola, cranberries, raisins, cinnamon and nuts. It’s a daring peanut butter that will tap into your adventurous side. PLANTERS NUT●rition peanut butter is nutrient dense and a good source of energy, providing 6-7 grams of protein per serving and at least 5 vitamins and minerals, depending on the variety. PLANTERS NUT●rition peanut butter can be consumed in many different ways – alone, with fruits or vegetables, on crackers or bagels, and as an ingredient in a variety of recipes.
Are you one of the many adults that loves peanut butter? Do you eat it alone, on things and in things? I have a friend that can eat peanut butter with just about anything – bread, fruit, cake, yogurt, baked goods, cookies, as well as in recipes and by itself on a spoon. If you’re one of these people, Planters NUT-rition Peanut Butter will be right up your alley. Planters NUT-rition is thick and smooth and has chunks and bits of granola and fruits in it. The peanut flavor is the prevalent flavor, but the flavor of the ingredients is definitely noticeable. These will be interesting to incorporate into baked goods, they should make for some pretty near flavors and textures. I’m not exactly sure why these energy mix peanut butters are being marketed towards only adults. I think teens would also be a great market as so many teens want energy drinks. I’d rather see a teen eat peanut butter over drinking an energy drink any day.
Planters NUT-rition Peanut Butter is available in three varieties – Banana Granola Nut, Berry Nut and Cinnamon Raisin Granola Nut. Planters NUT●rition comes in a 12 oz. jar and has a suggested retail price of $3.99 per jar.
