REVIEW – Klondike Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich

I’ve mentioned my family’s love for ice cream before. Klondike is a favorite, and I always stock up when they go on sale. One of my most favorite ice cream treats ever is the Klondike Oreo Ice Cream Sandwich. Yummy! The Klondike Mrs Fields Ice Cream Sandwich is super tasty too! Recently Klondike introduced a couple of new products – Choco Taco in Chocolate and Peanut Butter varieties, as well as the new Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich.  As soon as I spotted the new Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich I had to try it.

Each box contains siz ice cream sandwiches, each of which are individually wrapped in clear plastic. These ice cream sandwiches are thick, generously sized like the original Klondike ice creams sandwich. The ice cream in the middle of the chocolate wafers is a light chocolate ice cream. The ice cream is smooth and creamy, not gritty. I liked the flavor, as did my sixteen year old son whose favorite flavor ice cream is chocolate – he gobbled up two of them. We’ll definitely be getting more of these in the future.
