MY THOUGHTS

I received a copy of Gooseberry Patch 101 Cozy Casseroles. The cookbook is broken into four sections – Quick to Fix Casseroles, Mom’s Favorite Casseroles, Potluck Perfect Casseroles, and Hot & Bubbly sides. As with the other cookbooks in this series, each and every recipe is accompanied by a great color photo. Some of them might even make your mouth water a little. The recipes are all clearly written and easy to understand. Truthfully, the only thing missing to make this cookbook perfect is cooking and prep time. Recipes I’m looking forward to trying include Chicken Kiev Casserole, Oodles of Noodles Chili Bake, Chicken Broccoli Divan, Sweet Corn & Rice Casserole, Pierogie Casserole, and Fabulous Baked Potato Casserole, amongst others. This cookbook would be great for people looking to expand their recipe collection with easy to make casseroles.
