Did you know that 28 years ago Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month? And, that July 15th was National Ice Cream Day? I have to admit, almost every day is ice cream day around here. We love it, and there’s almost always a variety available in the freezer. Recently we tried some Starbucks ice cream, and boy was it yummy!

Being a big fan of hot chocolate, when I saw Starbucks Hot Chocolate Ice Cream I just had to try it. It’s chocolate ice cream with a swirl of a sweet vanilla ice cream. It’s super smooth and creamy, and so rich and tasty! It sort of tastes like hot chocolate and sort of doesn’t. It is really delicious and I discovered that after I picked up a second pint of this that I didn’t want to share it so I hid it. (Come on, it’s ice cream!) Hubby fell in love with the newest flavor, Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino. The coffee flavor is the strongest part of this one, with a nice swirl of chocolate and some cookie pieces. I would have liked more cookie pieces but hubby thought it had just the right amount.
