The big game is right around the corner. You know which one I mean, the Super Bowl. Here’s a piece of info about the Super Bowl that the folks at Pirate’s Booty shared with me. Ready?

The Big Game Day is the second largest day of food consumption in the United States after Thanksgiving. On average, a whopping 5,000 calories are consumed during the Big Game and chips are the second most eaten food. An estimated 28 million pounds of potato chips and 8.5 million pounds of tortilla chips are eaten during the Big Game.

Good grief, that’s a lot of snackage! Most people that host a party try to have a little something for everyone.
