Mmm Mmm Magazines

I love checking out new recipes. I find them everywhere – online, in cookbooks, and in magazines. I have enough recipes to last me a lifetime. Several lifetimes in fact. And yet, I simply cannot stop myself from picking up a magazine and checking out the recipes inside. Last time I got an email containing a list of all magazine prices, I almost got myself into trouble. I almost ordered a couple of new subscriptions to some cooking magazines. I already have two or three magazine subscriptions that I don’t have time to keep up with. Here’s what happens. The magazine arrives in the mail. I flip through super quick and put it aside, so I can go through it when I have more time. I don’t get more time any time soon, and before I know it the next month has arrived, bringing new magazines with it. And so the magazines pile up. Then, every few months I spend a couple of hours at the kitchen table going through them all. I cut out the recipes that I want to try and then find homes for the rest. This is why I feel that magazines are meant to be shared. Do you get any cooking magazines? How do you manage them?
