On Sunday, July 15th at 8pmET/5pmPT, Tino Rivera takes viewers on a culinary expedition to discover the hidden gems and famous landmarks of Puerto Rico in Tino’s Latino: Puerto Rico. Cooking Channel heats up the primetime roster with premiere episodes of new fan-favorite series The Culinary Adventures of Baron Ambrosia, Easy Chinese and Roadtrip with G Garvin. Red, White and Grill with Williams-Sonoma
Premiering Sunday, July 1st at 8pmET/5pmPT
Get ready for Red, White and Grill with Williams-Sonoma, a one-hour Cooking Channel special that will change the way people enjoy food on the grill. Cooking Channel chef Roger Mooking is teaming up with one of America’s premier grilling experts, Chef Elizabeth Karmel, to stampede old-fashioned outdoor summer cuisine and bring a backyard grill-inspired menu to Austin, Texas. The duo hits up some of Austin’s hotspots for inspiration, seasonal produce and the best cuts of meat, while meeting some local townspeople along the way. After gathering ingredients, the duo invites the friends they met along their journey over for a grilling feast where they dazzle them with grilled entrées, sides and desserts. Delicious dishes include St. Louis-Style Pork Ribs, Buffalo Burgers, Grilled Skillet Cornbread and Banana Leaf Wrapped Purple and White Potatoes. These chefs turn traditional grilling on its ear, and when their unique talents combine over an open flame, everyone shouts for more.

Tino’s Latino: Puerto Rico
Premiering Sunday, July 15th at 8pmET/5pmPT
Chef Tino Rivera takes viewers on a culinary adventure throughout Puerto Rico to explore the unique flavors and traditions of his homeland. First, Tino travels down the pork highway for a Puerto Rican favorite – crispy whole roasted pig. Next, he stops at his favorite farmer’s market where he finds all the ingredients for a traditional Latin breakfast with a kick. Then, he’s off to San Juan to savor the celebrated food scene, but of course, no trip to Puerto Rico is complete without a stop at the oldest and most famous rum distillery in the world – Bacardi. Finally, he hits the high seas to catch dinner for a memorable dockside feast.

The Culinary Adventures of Baron Ambrosia

“Croquet Challenge of Compton”
It’s a beautiful day on the field of the Compton Croquet Club, when Baron and friends are rudely interrupted by the greedy land developer Phil Badaxster, who threatens to turn the entire city into a giant parking lot. Baron and Badaxster enter into the ultimate croquet challenge to save the community. Badaxster whacks Baron’s ball out of the park, but the game’s not over yet. Baron follows his ball all over South Los Angeles, tasting some fried turkey soul tacos in Compton and Indonesian delicacies in Bellflower, before finding his inner Samoan warrior in Long Beach.

“East Bay Investigations”
While visiting his friend Private Investigator John Law in Oakland, Calif., Baron gets roped into a film noir detective story like no other. A beautiful woman with a mysterious note leads Baron and John on a chase for her missing husband. Baron is more interested in his investigation of the Filipino specialties and killer soul food than he is in finding the kidnapped hubby. Can the crime-solving duo of Baron and Law manage to get to the bottom of the mystery? It seems to be more twisted than they thought.

“Werefox of Phoenix”
Baron, also known as ‘Eats Like a Bear,’ heads to Phoenix, Ariz., to ask a Native American Chief for his daughter’s hand in marriage. He soon finds that the village is being harassed by a hungry “Werefox.” Baron goes off in search of a food delicious enough to convince the “Werefox” to leave the village in peace. Swedish “Flying Jacob” and Native American fry bread may do the trick.
Easy Chinese
Premiering Saturday, July 7th at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT

Aromatics take center stage as Ching reveals the superstar ingredients behind every Chinese staple, including her Ginger Miso Seafood Broth and Five Spice Calamari with Citrus DippingSauce dishes.

“The Chinese Like It Hotter”
When it comes to spicy food, Chinese food is often pushed to the wayside. Ching shows how Chinese cuisine can be both dangerously hot and pleasantly accessible with her Four-Pepper Chinese Chicken and Habenero Scallops.

“Fusion Super Stars”
From gritty Chinatown to Manhattan’s finest restaurants, Ching observes how superstar chefs incorporate their favorite elements of Chinese cuisine into their restaurant’s menu. She then gives her own take of upscale Chinese food with Ching’s Classic Shrimp Laksa and Eastern Tuna Niçoise Salad.

“The American Dish with a Chinese Twist”
Ching takes on America’s most beloved dishes as she tries to find the best burger and spaghetti & meatballs in NYC. She then puts a Chinese spin on these classics with her Tiger Bites Pig and Asian Style Meatballs and Spicy Coconut Noodles recipes.
Roadtrip with G Garvin
Premiering Tuesday, July 3rd at 9pm ET/6pm PT – “New Jersey”
G heads to Hoboken, N.J., and stops first at 3Forty Grill, a Southern-inspired, upscale restaurant, where Chef Wally Weaver shares his special recipe for braised short ribs. G then heads off the beaten path to Cava Winery, where married owners Deneah Bledsoe and Anthony Riccio provide a warm welcome and a wine tasting for G. He then whips up a flavorful fish entrée using their wine. Finally, G stops at Dickie Dee’s, a New Jersey institution famous for their Italian Hot Dog. This special recipe has attracted generations of fans throughout the neighborhood, so G grabs a bite to see how it’s done.
Premiering Tuesday, July 24th at 9pm ET/6pm PT – “Best of the Bayou”
G stops in at Glenda’s Creole Kitchen to give a hand and see how etouffée is really done. Then, it’s off to Pizzitola’s in Houston where they have been offering fall-off-the-bone ribs for more than 70 years. G gets a quick lesson with Carlton on how to use minimal seasoning and an old brick pit to achieve the best ribs in Texas. G then makes a pit stop on his road trip in New Orleans to catch some great food, drinks, and music at the Three Muses. He pauses for a moment to sit with owners Chris, Dan, and Sophie as they showcase each element of what makes The Three Muses a success.
Premiering Tuesday, July 31st at 9pm ET/6pm PT – “Farm to Table”
G discovers the hard work and versatility that goes into a peanut from harvest to production at his visit to Royal Oak Peanuts. He also gets a lesson from Stephanie Pope on a peanut-inspired breakfast. G then heads to Coon Rock Farm, home of a large garden that supplies restaurants through Raleigh with organic produce. Chef Sarig and G then drive down to Zely and Ritz, Sarig’s restaurant set in Raleigh where they prepare a meal from the ingredients they picked at the farm.
