Did you know that today is National Hot Dog Day? With that in mind, it only seemed appropriate that we had Oscar Mayer Selects hot dogs for dinner today.

ABOUT OSCAR MAYER SELECTS

Oscar Mayer Selects hot dogs taste so great, they’re a hit with the entire family. Made with a taste you’ll love to the last bite and have no artificial preservatives*. It’s yum, hands down! Launched in March 2010, Oscar Mayer Selects are the brand’s newest hot dogs. The line includes Beef Franks, Angus Beef Franks, Bun Length Angus Beef Franks, Wieners and Hardwood Smoked Turkey Franks. What’s different about these dogs is that Selects is a line of hot dogs that have no artificial preservatives (contains natural preservatives). These hot dogs not only taste great, but they also are a delicious choice the whole family will love.

MY THOUGHTS

We tried the Oscar Mayer Selects Beef and Angus hot dogs. We found both varieties to taste very fresh, and both were juicy without being oily or greasy like some hot dogs. We made some on the grill and some on the stove, we all agreed that while both varieties tasted fine cooked either way that they both tasted a little better grilled. In the past CJ has been sensitive with some hot dogs and we had no issues with these, something I believe is because they have no preservatives.

Currently if you go to the Oscar Mayer Facebook page and go to the Taste-a-monial page you can print a coupon. As people return to the page and leave their thoughts on Oscar Mayer Selects the value of the coupon will increase until they’re free.
