Summer is one of my two least favorite seasons. I don’t like heat or humidity. During the summer I love to cool off with smoothies and shakes. Recently I had the opportunity to try Bolthouse Farms Smoothies.

MY THOUGHTS

Bolthouse Farms Smoothies come in six flavors:

  • Strawberry Banana
  • Berry Boost
  • C-Boost
  • Blue Goodness
  • Green Goodness
  • Amazing Mango

Bolthouse Farms Smoothies

I received samples of three of the flavors of Bolthouse Farms Smoothies – Blue Goodness, C-Boost, and Strawberry Banana. The smoothies contain essential vitamins and anti-oxidants. Knowing that not all people like things that are good for them, the folks at Bolthouse suggested an alternate way to use Bolthouse Smoothies – homemade popsicles. Before making the popsicles I wanted to be sure I knew what the smoothies tasted like, since things often taste different when frozen. I took a sip of each flavor. The smoothies are thick and delicious. My favorite flavor is the Blue Goodness. I love that these smoothies are made with real juice, and that they are gluten-free and preservative-free. I then poured the remainders of the smoothies into the popsicle molds and put them in the freezer. That afternoon we tried the homemade popsicles. They were delicious! The homemade popsicles were a tasty way to refresh ourselves and cool down a little on a hot afternoon.
